The world's largest and most innovative cruise ship, the 109-ton Grand Princess which debuted in May, will spend its first winter sailing seven-day eastern Caribbean cruises from Ft. Lauderdale.  The 2,600 passenger vessel will call in St. Thomas, Princess Cays and St. Maarten before returning to Ft. Lauderdale.

Grand Princess boasts an amazing list of cruise ship firsts, including the only at-sea wedding program.  Couples can choose from three different wedding packages which include music, champagne, flowers, photos, video and a wedding cake.

The ship also features the first Southwestern restaurant afloat, a dedicated art gallery, a digital photo studio, a disco/observation lounge 150 feet above water and the greatest number of private balconies of any ship at sea.

"Grand Class cruising is truly changing the way people look at a cruise", said Rick James, Princess' senior vice president of sales and corporate relations.  "With the introduction of Grand Princess, we want to show that not only do we have the largest cruise ship, we also offer the most choices.  All our Grand Class ships offer a spaciousness that most cruise ships do not."
